Nothing much to say…….but wanted to drop a quick note to wish all the out there that’s celebrating the festive season.

So wassup Peeps……..I’m sure all of ya peeps have had a happening, rocking, fun-filled New Years celebration. Well same goes here as well.
Don’t think I’ll blog about wat I did……..it’s practically the same as almost everyone…..fun, laughter, drinks…..blah blah blah
Anyway, I ‘m feeling lost and like a part of me got chopped off. It’s Friday the 13th (what a way to start the Year 2006) and guess what? My freaking notebook acted all tingly and funny and then went dead……in plain techie lingo…. "it CRASHED!!!"
No worries though, it’s nothing like the subject headline…..thank goodness or else all my data wouldn’t be recoverable……I’m still crossing my fingers though and hoping that it will.
So if you’re wondering by what sorcery or magic or miracle I have done to be posting this right now ……. I’ll answer your questions before you scratch your poor scalp right thru to the brain! I’m using a loaner/standby machine. It may be old……but hey it works and right now….THAT MATTERS!!!
It has served me well for the past 23months……to think….it won’t even live to see it’s glorious 2nd birthday celebration. It was a not a bad one….neither a great one…..but yes, a good one…..a good notebook. I’m sad to see it go…..but the must tech go on. I am however frustrated as hell that all my data and info and pictures and loads of stuff are in there though. I felt crippled, abandoned, lost, souless……sigh……I feel just empty. The only consolation I have is the hope that my data is still sleeping….dormant …… lying in wait …..quietly in the belly of the Hard Drive of this dead souless machine.
Alas, I must be strong…….I must hang on……I must have faith in my tech team ablity that all will be restored and the glorious sun will once again shine in my sky and blow the dark clouds of despair away into oblivion…..or rather till the next crash timeline.
It’s a bit dramatic and too much shit…..but this is what happens when I’m deprived of technology……withdrawal symptoms will soon start. Thank god it’s Friday (TGIF)….I can just easily drown all my sorrows in Beer and rejoice that I have a weekend to while away…with such pleasure that I don’t know what work I’m missing.
So for now…….let’s just drink and be merry. Let’s all drink and pretend that our notebooks/PCs has reach it’s time and crashed with PEACE
