It’s the weekend again……..gosh time flies by so fast……who cares anyway…..T-G-I-F

Usually people take time out to blog a little more on friday……I’m a little different….I don’t do that

Friday is the end of the week….hence it’s the start of the WEEK-END….a time for you to enjoy yourselves, to pamper yourself, to relax the mind, body and soul…..else you won’t be recharge to tackle the work on the following next week.

So my advice is to simply smile and enjoy the day, give the boss THE FINGER for any last minute work, and grab a few bottles, mugs and jugs of the refreshing elixir of life…raise it high and toast the week away……

Remember this mantra and chant it …….oh so often

Weekend starts…FSS
Friday - Fuck IT, Fuck you, Fuck Everything
Saturday - SUCK IT and SEX IT UP
Sunday - Shhhhhhh!!! SLEEPING!!!

Now learn it and learn it well……….go spread the ConfuJINism mantra to the people ;p

In this day & age, there is technology in everything and everywhere we look. We use to only make calls from a physical phone that is situated either in your office or home. Then as technology developments got more sophisticated, these phones had more features pumped-in like caller ID, loudspeakers, speed dial, redial…etc.

After that, they made phones cordless….whooppeee…now u can talk & carry your phone everywhere in the house/office (added mobility minus the wire nuisance). Imagine talking on the phone while doing your BIG bizness in the toilet. (Thank goodness there is no smell feature included…else I pity the other end of the line….LOL)

Then those geniuses at the phone companies thought "hmmm, if we could make the phone cordless, why don’t we also make them truly…truly mobile?"

There and then I would think was the beginning of the mobile revolution. The first few mobile phones were HUGE….about the size of a briefcase and weighs about 4kgs. That’s almost like lugging your son’s schoolbag all around. It was Big and Bulky …. BUT to a certain extend it made you proud, prestigious and belong to the upper echelon of the society.

After that, the rest as they say is history…a quite long one at that. We have a whole lot assortments of mobile phones in the market these days that runs on various technology.

eg. different ring tones (MIDI…AVI…MP3…sound effects…poly…mono….and some drove you psycho too…..LOL),

caller ID, call forwarding, call holding, call conferencing, call flying, call screaming….just kidding

there was like ,infra-red, infra-blue…i think there was a purple something….bluetooth, redeye, handsfree, legfree, …. duhh i think there is one just for the idiots too…..brainfree …..nahh just kidding guys….Hahaha
some even had loudspeakers, keyboards, and dunno what-nots what-nots…etc.

If we talk about mobile technology itself …..it could also drive you nuts….there’s SMS, EMS, MMS, PMS (kidding gals)….GSM, Triband, EDGE, 2G, 2.5G and the latest hype 3G……so many Gs It just wakes you wonder and then you go like "GoSH…Ummm…..Geeee, what Phone is that huh?"

The main player in the market back then was Motorola, Ericsson, and Nokia. After a while, Nokia gain market share and the rest kinda fell into a mobile blackhole……These days the top few brands that still dominate the market is NOKIA, SONY ERICSSON, SAMSUNG and MOTOROLA (at least in Malaysia). Although there are many new brands as well from Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, and some familiar ones….except not in mobilephones technology.

Panasonic - always associated with home electrical products….now moving into mobiles??
LG - same as Panasonic as well
Philips - lightbulbs, electrical and now mobiles too?? Hungry aren’t they?

Like Samsung, these 3 above were always associated with home electronic products…..but Samsung has been much successful than the lot of them.
I guess all these must have started when Japan’ giant, Sony bought into the ailing swiss, Ericsson…..which in a way stared the ball rolling with Sony Ericsson.

Mitsubishi - I thought they were car makers…what the hell?? moving from EVOs to Mobilephones
Siemens - Go figure the Germans…trying to conquer the world again???

Many many more mobilephones that are out there…..just Google the word mobilephone or handphone or mobile cellular…….I’m sure it’ll return about a couple millions of hits.

I think we get spoiled for choice when it’s time to change to a new phone…..in fact we are so spoiled for choice that getting a new phone is utterly just troublesome…..and to some extend mind-boggling.

There’s so much to consider when getting one:

Colour, Design, Size
Function and Features
Compatibility
weight
Talktime
Accesories
User-Friendliness
Warranty and Support
The FEEL and VIBE that makes you JIVE with the Phone

LAST but not least……THE PRICE!!!

Use that as a checklist and I’m sure you’re gonna get a darn big headache just finding out which one to get.

This post is just to waste my time actually……that’s coz I’m an INSOMNIAC….need to pass my time to get to sleep….hehehe

8.30pm Saturday 24th September 2005……That date is historical by my account. Why? it was the date My hunting mates and I had achieved what we had hope to do so …..for oh so long. It’s about time!!!

WE WON a TREASURE HUNT!!! And the icing on the cake was that we won BOTH 1st & 2nd Prize. Now how is that for an achievement?

It’s like in the F1 races when the 2 racers of a team finishes on the podium. Not just any finish mind you…..but a 1-2 finish. It was a moment to cherish…..My team edged the team by just 1 freaking point. Imagine that!!!

Again, it’s almost like the F1, where it’s the last lap and racing toward for the chequered flag…….round the last turn……it’s the final stretch……and engines revv to the max……..pushing and pushing the machines to the MAX …. with your team mate right next to you…..eye to eye….head to head…and the crowd stands up with amazement and roars for both the drivers.

The engine roars, speedometer rises…..faster and faster and your adrenaline pumps with such speed that you can taste victory at the tip of your tongue. Nothing matters……all your focus is on the front.

At the finishing line…head to head….both cars roars pass the line …it’s hard to call….a photo finish is required.
The crowd goes silent….everyone waits. The results are out and announced. The photo finish is splashed across all the screens. The crowd cheers…Your machine is just 6" ahead of the other. A gap of just 1/1000th of a second……..races come and go, championships change hands…..but this race, this victory IS what stuff of legends are made of.

Now that is exactly…..well not exactly….but almost what it felt like winning a hunt for the FIRST time.

I have a prediction…..many more wins to come. We welcome new hunters as well to experience the thrills, spills, and chills of a hunt. Any takers?

NOTE: The F1 description is intentional as a celebration of Alonso from Renault winning the F1 championship and also icing on the cake…he is the youngest champion ever!!!

CONGRATS Fernando Alonso…..Next season…..We’ll be waiting for a repeat

Guess I just had to so call "get tough when the going gets tough". It might sound corny, but hey…sometimes all we need is a kick or two to remind us of what matters.
Thanks to 2 good friends (you know who you are) that finally knocked some real cow sense into my head over the weekend…..over drinks and bak kut teh ofcourse

Now I’m back……and hopefully with a bigger BANG than before.

Just wait and see people…..wait and see

It’s been awhile and I’m still in a melanchholic state. I hope to find the passion or to re-ignite the darn fire that got me started in the blog. Somehow I think it’s gonna take a while.

If I had ranted on and on about work and being busy and not able to blog….I guess that was just an excuse…..I finally realised that I lost the passion. That’s just it. Period.

Like many blogs that have come and many more that had passed…..I feel I’m at a junction to either terminate or reinvent. As easy as either one sounds….it’s harder to execute than in theory.

Deep down, I know that it’s hypocritical of me to quit…when I keep egging and encouraging my fellow bloggers…..but I guess I don’t really care anymore. Why? Should I?

I don’t think my blog is interesting by my standards and certainly not insipiring as my fellow blog-mates below

Work, eat, sleep, piss, shit and if lucky the occasional fuck….that’s how my lifecycle is going these few weeks. It’s been quite busy and at times just damn bloody hectic. But who am I to complain….I need the job, the money’s good and there are the perks…….once in a while…….however, I also need time to fucking rest and just lay back sometimes. Tell me who doesn’t? I can safely predicct that about 70% of the people between age of 18-30 that are in Klang Valley is very much deprieved of precious sleep, fun and sex (maybe the numbers could be more…….no proper statistics here to justify though)

Oh well I guess I did it to myself…….we choose how we live our lives remember…so no one’s to blame. The only realisation I can gather here is "Deal with it, Life ain’t fair to begin with"

I think I’m getting a little bloggers-BLOCK (like a writers block but for bloggers) either that or I’m getting to busy to blog these days. I think much of it is the latter.

So just for a short period, I think I’m gonna go on a short hiatus and no blogging for a while. I’ll be back I guess…but when and how long…it depends.

Read my previous blogs for now and just enjoy.

It’s a Friday people…….go out have fun and drink till there is no tomorrow. And when tomorrow comes…drink like it’s forever!!!

Guys, go out…grab a drink and if you see that oh so hot looking babe that you been salivating and oogling all this while…..go for it! Yup you heard me right ‘GO FOR IT’ gather your nerves and tuck in those balls……walk up to her and with confidence….chat her up. Talk to her and not just oogle at her body and remember…listen and respond….stop looking at her boobs or butt. Stop thinking about how she would look naked and how you are gonna bonk her. A women should be appreciated for her body and looks……YES….but then again there is also the emotional part of them as well as their character that holds the other attraction.

As for the ladies, well just be yourself and enjoy the nite. It doesn’t matter if you don’t look like a super-model or have the figure of a goddess….none of tis matter on a friday nite. Remember to just exude confidence and let your natural self indulge in a little flirt or chat. C’mon gals give a brother a chance and I’m sure you’ll be suprised as well as find that there are a few men out there that have other stuff on their minds other than SEX,SEX,SEX.

Well that’s just a little advise and pep talk for my fellow mates out there….so happy hunting. Enjoy the nite and live life your way.

Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! These were the cries of the nation when we celebrated our independence once again. At the stroke of 12:00AM, 31st August 2005, the country and it’s people were in unision to cheer and celebrate the nation’s continuing peace and harmony. It’s been 48 years Malaysia gained independence from the grasp of the british colony. Times have changed drastically in the last 4 decades. However, the more things change….the more they stay the same. I couldn’t help but felt a little cliche-ish.

Thinking back, there are a few stuff that are worth celebrating and I am proud to be a Malaysian depite the flaws of the people’s mentality, attitude, as well as the inadequacies of the govt. Yea, which country doesn’t have those….but nonetheless, it’s still worth celebrating.

I look around and see the many faces of the different cultures, races, nationality….it was like a melting pot with different recipies and spices to make the ultimate gourmet meal….all these people congregating somewhere, somehow, all in the name of celebrating our nation’s birthday….yup once again.
